The offices of the City Hall of Orihuela Costa have collected the experiences of students from the public school “Los Dolses” about Miguel Hernández.

During this academic year the center located in Orihuela Costa has focused part of its cultural activity in the figure of the poet Miguel Hernández. The teachers have made known their students the many facets of life and work of the poet from Orihuela, to mark the centenary of his birth.

In addition, the center Los Dolses has offered during the month of May a programme of out-of-school activities such as drawing and painting, connecting these arts with the poet. Once the students had acquired knowledge, they freely chose an episode from the life of Miguel Hernandez to illustrate it either with watercolors, tempera, crayons, markers or colored pencils. And the result of these impressions is open to the public in the City Hall of Orihuela Costa.
