Ever since its doors opened last Friday, the Valencia Tourism Trade Fair became another large showcase for the city of Orihuela, displaying all the best from this land once more: Golf, beaches, services, etc. and its acclaimed Holy Week which is almost upon us, one of the main and most eye catching appeals to visitors.
It also featured another important attraction for Orihuela 2010, the Centenary of Miguel Hernandez, including the whole schedule for this Hernandez Year, which will undoubtedly capture the attention of all kinas of audiences.
Mayor of Orihuela Monica Lorente and Council Cultural Officer Pepa Ferrando were amongst the attendees to the event organised by Francisco Camps, president of the Valencian Generalitat and Belen Juste, Councillor of Tourism of the Valencian Generalitat.
