The figure and work of Miguel Hernandez goes beyond our frontiers and, as a matter of fact, even our culture. Hernandez Year has already become one of the most important worldwide cultural events of the year, arising interest in very different communities and nationalities.

This is why this web page, a meeting point for everybody interested in commemorating the centenary, is now giving the final touches to its English language version, which will be available shortly.

Intended as one of many actions scheduled by the local council team to provide a universal standing for the Poet’s figure, it is aimed at ensuring that the homage being paid by all the local residents during these months will have the same worldwide repercussion as Miguel Hernandez’s own work.
