“Orihuela offers an attractive seafront made up of sheltered coves, golden beaches, tidy residential areas and two sheltered marinas”.
From north to south, a busy cove and an open beach, both featuring all the necessary amenities and connected by a well-kept promenade, give way to a string of small coves with clear waters that are perfect for diving.
La Zenia beach is a good place to go windsurfing and, between here and Cape Roig, there are even more pretty coves. At the base of Cape Roig, a yacht club offers sailing and windsurfing lessons, and between the cape and Campoamor marina, there is a long beach where windsurf sails can be always found. Towards the south, the Mil Palmeras beach blends into that of the neighbouring town. In addition to the nautical activities on offer, there are also three excellent golf courses located right next to the sea.
